Tony hadn’t been sure of what to expect when he was informed that a new Avenger would be joining the team. Not asked. Informed, which already put a sour taste in his mouth. Somehow, Rogers and Fury had decided themselves that this new addition was a good idea. They didn’t even let Tony weigh in on it. It was just a ‘oh, hey Tony, there’s a new Avenger, deal with it’.

It was safe to say that he was not pleased.
