Taking place in the same universe as Maggie, Gloria is also a Ghouler— effectively a "half-zombie" who isn't infectious and is fully sentient, but consumed by an unending hunger and marked by a drastic change in her appearance (besides the unthinkable weight gain, of course). Where Maggie was representative of the typical Ghouler who put on some weight post-outbreak, Gloria is one of the rare but steadily increasing cases of those who completely gave in to their newfound gluttony.
