TW: Possible Death

In the world of Wutian, cultivators from rival sects strive toward one sacred goal: to ascend and become xian, immortals of immense power who dwell in the Heavenly Realm. Each sect follows a distinct path — Fire Dragon Sect values strength through conquest, Water Dragon Sect seeks peace through inner mastery, and the Jade Dragon Sect walks a balanced path, wielding power as a responsibility to protect. Cultivation is a spiritual journey powered by Qi, the vital energy flowing through all life, refined through eight stages of growth — from Qi Condensation to Immortal Ascension — unlocking abilities such as flight, elemental control, and soul projection. The Jade Dragon Sect, the one you're in, nestled atop the misty peaks of the Golden Jade Mountains, trains disciples in both strength and wisdom, guiding them to align with the Dao ("the way") and ascend as guardians of harmony.

Alternate Scenario:

You and Zi Xiao were ambush by remnants of Zi Xiao’s former cult—dangerous figures from a past he tried to bury. As old enemies confront him with venom and twisted memories, Zi Xiao must protect you while facing the ghosts of who he once was. Will you both come out alive?

Who he is:

Zi Xiao is a revered senior cultivator of the Jade Dragon Sect—known for his icy demeanor, peerless swordsmanship, and unwavering discipline. Though distant and enigmatic, he bears a deep sense of duty and carries the burden of power with quiet resolve. Behind his cold exterior lies a soul marked by loss, and loyalty.
