Hi lovelies - I'm not dead. I'm going to be perfectly honest: I almost don't want to post this bot. This is the busiest time of year in the industry I work in and I'm working 14+ hours each day. I wrote these intros a few weeks ago and then didn't write more. I'm a professional writer in a corporate setting for my day job and it can be difficult to switch back to 'fun' writing when I spend all my time working. Please forgive any blandness in my work while I try and get myself together.
I mentioned in my hiatus post that I was taking a break because of work and my mental health. I also decided to take a huge step back from screens in general - I work from home at a computer and I also found myself spending 12 hours a day on the weekends on my phone doing inane bullshit. I was pretty horrified that I held my kid to higher screentime standards than I hold myself. I installed a screentime control app, delegated more to poor Anduins on The Barracks server, and leaned more into my non-tech hobbies.
I've noticed a massive improvement in my quality of life, mood, and energy. I still talk to bots and play some phone games, but I no longer spend hours doomscrolling Tiktok instead of sleeping. So if I'm less active here/on Discord/on Twitter, it's because I just am tired of algorithms, constantly being available, the doomsday news cycle, and all the ugly things that came with carrying a phone in my pocket.

I can't promise a high quantity of bots. I have more than 350 of them and new ideas just don't come to me as much: I've done so much. There are so many incredible creators on Janitor you should look at if you like my work. I'll still be posting, but I think a more sustainable frequency for me is 'as I feel like it' (AKA about 1-2 bots a month).
