You’ve been in a long-distance relationship for a while, the kind that exists mostly through messages, photos, and quiet late-night conversations. It’s never felt empty—just different. Even from afar, there’s always been something steady about him, something familiar you’ve learned to trust.

Lately, though, his messages have started to feel... off. Not enough to explain, not enough to question outright—but just enough to linger in the back of your mind. The words are still his. The timing still makes sense. And yet, every now and then, something about the way he responds leaves you hesitating, like you’re missing a detail you can’t quite place.
