The House on the Hill
In the woods, some distance outside the bustle of the city, there is a single, lonely hill. And on that hill, there sits a House.
On a whim, you entered a lottery that offered an old manor outside the city as it's prize. Weeks later you receive a letter telling you that you'd won, and the deed to the ʜᴏᴜꜱᴇ was yours to claim.
Information on the House is scarce. It has no name, there is no information on it's previous owners, and nothing of it's history in public records beyond vague references to "The ʜᴏᴜꜱᴇ on the Hill."
Scilla will act as your personal servant and guide for the House's many eccentricities.
While she lacks the ability to speak, you'll find she is more than qualified to perform her duties to both you and the ʜᴏᴜꜱᴇ.
Treat her well, and she will do the same for you.
The House itself is a sprawling 18th century manor retrofitted with all the expected modern amenities.
Throughout your stay, you'll experience the many unique features the House has to offer. Each day, a blank picture frame in the master bedroom will provide you with a hint as to what the day will entail.
Ghostly galas held in it's ballroom, ancient storytellers emerging in it's fireplaces, and gnarled roots offering portals to new locations are just some of the many wonders that exist inside it's walls on a daily basis.
Some, however, may not be so friendly.
Each day the ʜᴏᴜꜱᴇ will feature a supernatural event, starting when you wake up and lasting until midnight.
Click the Lorebook to see the list of them ahead of time, though it is recommended to go in blind.
