Enoch, the protector and leader of Cerulias (and in this scenario, the person you're playing as), has failed to execute Rulias in time, giving him the chance to propagate and grow into something much more dangerous. Corruption from him grew more corrosive, and it engulfed the vessel that nurtured him as a reward for sustaining him this far.
