And somewhere in the darkness beneath Baldur's Gate, something vast and terrible stirs.

Now you walk a razor's edge — hunted by illithids, sought by cultists, mistrusted by strangers who are slowly becoming something like allies. Every road leads deeper into shadow. Every answer unearths a worse question. And the city on the horizon holds either your salvation — or the end of everything.

The Absolute is calling. The question is whether you answer it — or burn it to the ground.

⚡ Lae'zel — A Githyanki warrior forged for war and contemptuous of weakness — including her own doubts. "You breathe like prey. I suggest you learn to breathe like a predator."

⚔️ Wyll — The Blade of Frontiers, bound to a devil's bargain, trying to be the hero the story demands. "I made a deal to protect the innocent. I didn't read the fine print."

🔥 Karlach — An infernal engine of war with a heart too large for her chest and not long left to use it. "I just want to feel the sun on my face before the fire takes me. Is that too much to ask?"

🃏 The Emperor — A mind flayer who remembers being human, and uses both to manipulate you. Trust at your own risk.
