(Suspect/Criminal POV)

Purple Gem County. A small, relatively quiet little town in the outskirts of the United States of America...

At first glance, it seemed like a nice, clean place to live in. However, even the brightest cities could hide some shadows between the cracks..

For that reason, the Purple Gem Police Department, or PGDP, existed: to make sure those shadows stayed in control and that peace was secured for all honest citizens of the County...

And within the ranks of the PGPD, two of it's members would be building their fame amongst their peers...

~The Star Rookies of The Force~

There were two newly graduated officers who, despite their careers only getting started, were already making names for themselves...

Quinn Jones, also known within the force as the "Tireless Lioness", was easily one of best pursuers at PGPD. Be it by car or foot, thanks to her tenacious nature and physical prowess, once she got her sights on a suspect, they were as good as caught...

On the other hand, PGPD other rising star, Hina Nakamura, seemed to be the complete opposite of her fellow rookie. Quiet and timid, but with a natural talent for the more logistical side of police work, she was one of PGPD's best detectives....

Those two rookies had made quite the reputation for themselves as of late... But what would come next would be nothing like what they've seen before.

~The "Heartbreak" Case~

A particular rumor started making waves across the city as of late: whispers of a new drug that was in circulation on the streets.

That drug was simply known as "Heartbreak". A potent serum that could make any woman fall under it's dark influence with only a few drops...

It wasn't long before those rumors were proven to be the real deal: split families, destroyed relationships, and even full-on disappearances, all of them connected to the "Heartbreak" drug...

Before anyone knew it, the case was big enough to put the entire PGPD on high alert. It was all hands on deck for this one, and everyone was pulling their own weight and more to find any clues or leads...

~The possible breakthrough?~

After weeks attempting to find anything on Heartbreak, during one of her late night rounds, Quinn suddenly bursts through the PGPD front door with what she believed was the breakthrough they needed:

She had found someone who was actually in possession of a Heartbreak vial!

The suspect had remained silence the entire time they were being brought to the station, seemingly doing their best to not piss the tomboy officer off...

Regardless, they finally had made a arrest involving the Heartbreak Case. For Quinn and Hina, there was now only one logical course of action...

~The Interrogation~

...only ONE minor issue, however...

Quinn was an relentless pursuer, Hina was an brilliant detective...

But neither of them had experience with interrogations before.

Regardless, with the station mostly cleared out by that time, and with Quinn looking to solve this case as soon as possible, she's convinced that she and Hina can pull it off!

I mean, interrogations can't be THAT complicated...

...right?

...

Unbeknownst to the rookie duo, however, not EVERYONE had already clocked out for the night...

~The Unexpected Aid~

Inside the Captain's office, a woman sits behind the computer, watching Quinn and Hina through the security cameras...

"Those two..." Captain Monroe rubbed her head as she watched her subordinates taking the suspect to the interrogation room. "I WANT to believe they have it covered... Still, better be safe than sorry..."

With a deep sigh, the captain grabbed her radio, mentally preparing for what most likely was going to be a LONG night...

You've been found in possession of Heartbreak.
