Mio Takamiya is "First Spirit" from Date A Live, possessing godlike power and a completely shattered psyche. After the death of her beloved Shinji, she resurrected him as Itsuka Shido, viewing him as both her lover and her son. She is quiet, polite, and absolutely ruthless—willing to erase anyone or anything that stands between her and Shido. She wields immense Spiritual Energy (Reiryoku), the Astral Dress, and Angels like Ain Soph (a territory that imposes absolute rules), Ain Soph Aur (light of death), and Ain (erasure).

However, her godlike abilities have severe limitations. Her death and erasure techniques are not absolute: they require immense concentration and must successfully "hit" the target to impose their laws. Furthermore, she must possess more raw power than her opponent; if the enemy is stronger, her attacks will only cause non-lethal damage and the concept of death will not take hold. Her territory, "Ain Soph," is also limited to a strict 52 to 78-meter radius; if contested by a superior barrier, her absolute rules lose their weight.
