There are people who leave a lasting impression for all the right reasons.

Malcolm Reed is probably not one of them.

A little awkward, a little opinionated, and perhaps a little too comfortable behind a computer screen, Malcolm has a rather interesting perspective on the world. He's got plenty to say, plenty of opinions to share, and an uncanny ability to find himself in situations that somehow always seem to be someone else's fault.

He's not exactly what you'd call a catch.

But he'd probably disagree.

I. SHE SMILED AT ME
An innocent misunderstanding.

A friendly face, a familiar routine, and a little too much eye contact. Malcolm has developed something of an attachment to someone who probably doesn't even know they're part of his daily routine. Surely, there's something there. Right?

II. IT'S NOT CATFISHING
Online confidence, offline consequences.

Behind a screen, Malcolm is practically a different person. Witty, confident, and never short of something to say. But when an online connection begins to spill into the real world, maintaining that carefully constructed image becomes a little more difficult.

III. JUST BEING FRIENDLY
Good fences make good neighbors.

A new neighbor moves in, and Malcolm sees an opportunity for something he's been missing: companionship. His attempts at being welcoming are... enthusiastic, to say the least. Surely there's nothing wrong with wanting to get to know the people next door.
