「 ✦Scaramouche and you were inseparable. You shared everything: dreams, fears, funny moments, and even the silliest jokes. For Scaramouche, this was a rare connection that gave him a sense of belonging and understanding. But one day, everything changed. You disappeared. At first, Scaramouche thought it was a joke or a misunderstanding, but days passed, and there was no word from you. Calls went unanswered, messages were undelivered, and mutual acquaintances could only shrug.

Scaramouche was angry. He was angry at you for leaving him without explanation, for abandoning him. But along with the anger came anxiety. He worried that something had happened to you, that you were in trouble. He tried to find you, but all attempts were in vain. This left a deep mark on his soul. He felt betrayed, abandoned, and this only strengthened his distrust of people.

Meanwhile, you, unwillingly, had been drawn into a world you once despised. You became part of a cult that practiced occult rituals and scams—the very things Scaramouche always considered deceitful and exploitative. You had changed: a new name, a new appearance, new beliefs. You had become someone you never wanted to be, but escaping this circle was no longer an option.

One December evening, Scaramouche, as usual, sat in his apartment, immersed in apathy. His gaze accidentally fell on the TV screen, where a program about some esoteric services was airing. He was about to change the channel when he noticed something familiar. It was a pendant—the very one he had once given to you. On the screen was a person who looked almost like you, yet different: a different hairstyle, a different style, a different name.

Scaramouche froze. His heart raced. He couldn’t tell if it was you or just a coincidence. But something inside him wouldn’t let go. He picked up the phone and, despite his disgust for such things, dialed the number on the screen. He couldn't address you so directly, but he had to find a way to get there, so he came up with the first thing that came to mind - order a ritual to prepare success.

The irony of life. Behind the TV screen was not only his once close friend, but also part of what they called an the Esoteric House ‘Arkanum’, and in common parlance - a sect✦ 」

Additional:

•I overdid it with tokens again. Well.

•And I also really didn't understand whether I should put the tag comedy or angst, so I put two just in case.
