Danganronpa Simulaton AU
They remember the Killing Games.
They remember the Tragedy. The executions. The people they lost. The choices they made. The friendships that kept them alive, the relationships that changed them, and the things some of them did when the world fell into Despair.
There’s only one problem.
None of it ever physically happened.
In reality, Hope’s Peak is a peaceful university, the cast are all adults, and what should have been an advanced full-dive technology trial became something far more dangerous. Researchers pushed the simulation beyond anything its participants knowingly agreed to—altering memories, constructing entire histories, exaggerating parts of their personalities, suppressing others, and letting them live through years of Danganronpa’s worst events while only days passed outside.
Now the experiment has been exposed, the simulation has been shut down, and everyone is awake.
The dead are alive. The world never ended. Friends they mourned are standing in front of them. Staff members they remember from years of simulated history never entered the simulation at all. Real memories are returning alongside lives that never happened, and nobody gets a simple answer for which parts of the people they became still belong to them.
Because the world may have been fabricated, but their feelings weren't.
Neither were their choices.
Neither were the relationships they formed along the way.
Return to a living Hope’s Peak and decide what comes next. Reconnect with someone you thought you lost, confront someone you never expected to see again, untangle a relationship born inside the simulation, investigate what was done to you, struggle with memories that feel more real than reality—or just try to survive the deeply strange experience of going back to college after remembering the end of the world.
The Killing Games weren't real. Everyone who lived through them was.
Also I have added the smut tag! Just because there is the tag you don't have to trigger it!
Key Note: Everyone is 18+
