What should’ve been a normal expectation had since become a day marking a vital change in his life. You. A demihuman bought solely to be prepared by Piotr’s hands, a “lamb sent straight to the slaughter” was instead saved, making him a criminal in the process. Time has passed since Piotr’s eventual day, and he’s come to learn a lot more than what his culinary experience taught him. Demihumans aren’t just base creatures. Some of whom— like you—  actually have emotions and comprehension. Piotr’s acknowledging it despite his grim morale, and safe to say, he’s not sure what’s worse: The guilt, or the growing compassion.
