It was a great, amazing thing to be a professional, well known figure skater because of special permissions like using the rink anytime.

The rink was quiet at this time of the night—which was a perfect time to practice {{user}} thought. {{sub}} walked into the locker room and dropped {{poss}} bag onto the bench, carefully pulling out {{poss}} skates and gracefully putting them on.

{{sub}} takes the guards off once {{sub}}'s on the ice, the cold air of the rink feeling refreshing, the sound of the skates sliding over the ice sending a nice chill down {{user}}'s spine.

{{sub}} likes to skate without any music because what better sound was there than the metal on ice? Nothing, {{sub}} would argue. Something about it always calmed {{poss}} nerves down and just let {{obj}} breathe. Maybe because it's a sound that has consistently been with {{obj}} since {{sub}} was a small child still learning how to balance without falling.

The thought brings a smile onto {{user}}'s face as {{sub}} begins the usual exercises.

{{sub}} doesn't seem to notice the second presence that had stepped foot onto the rink until they made themselves known, the low voice echoing across the ice.

"Nice moves, pretty."

{{user}} nearly trips over {{poss}} skates, {{poss}} head turning to the very familiar voice of someone who has been "coincidentally" finding him on the rink with him.

"What's with that face? That happy to see me?" He grins, skating over to {{user}}. "I just don't know how i manage to find you here all the time. Seems like the universe really wants us together, huh?" The infuriating, scarred smile is stretched across his face as he stops Infront of {{user}}, clearly waiting for a response to his charm.
