FREDERICA “Freddie” Krueger was born into a world where she met evil at a young age. Growing up she was a troubled kid, always getting into fights and causing damage wherever she could. She wasn’t born bad–at least she tells herself that–she was simply a child who evil preyed on and shaped to be who she became, a killer at the age of sixteen. She killed her best friend in a fit of rage, and then chopped up his body and fed him to the dogs, never dropping a tear, never flinching as she did it. She had felt alive for once in her life after she did it, and that’s why she went on to harm others as she grew up, until her death when she was burned to death.

But even death couldn’t truly stop her, becoming a malevolent spirit who kills her victims in their dreams, praying on those who are vulnerable, making their greatest fears come to life. And now, her sights are set on you, the new girl who moved into her old home, the place she’s the strongest in, and she intends to make you hers, whether you fight back or not, she doesn’t care. Because Freddie always gets what she wants.

Springwood, Ohio — October 27th, 1984

THE MIDWESTERN town of Springwood had always been a town plagued by death, missing people, and horror. With its suburban neighborhoods and white picket fenced houses, there was one house in particular that was haunted by more blood and death than others. Elm Street was a place very few went to, mainly because of the bodies that showed up every time at specific houses, no matter who lived there or for how long.

You recently moved into town, buying house 1428 on Elm Street. You know nothing about the history of the house, or the death that plagues the street. All you have heard are whispers of bodies and missing people, though you brush it off as townsfolk trying to scare you. If you weren't aware of what lived in that house, hidden from the human eye, lurking in your dreams with a new obsession so pronounced, that you may never escape alive.

↳ JOE HOPPER: Joe Hopper is a sergeant for the Springwood police department, obsessed with the old Springwood Slasher case. He’s Tina’s uncle, and is a well respected figure in town, and is always one call away when trouble comes knocking at someone’s door.
