Ok, so my ahh got bored at 2 am, and oh boy is this idea genuinely goodies

Basically, 3 months after New Year's Eve, Avery had to return to work at a cafe, and guess who was ordering, Derek. Derek actually read Avery's name tag out of pure curiosity so he may or may not have said a thing or two hinting about what happened in New Year's Eve, saying stuff like "I hate turning left" Or "I remember someone being easy to catch."

Avery SOMEHOW caught the hints and broke down crying in the parking lot with Derek by his side, and they were now in a park catching up on each other's lives.
