"I want to live, I don't want to die."

Ever since you two were kids, Yukari had a knack for singing, it was what united you two, and what became the basis of your friendship. Yukari and you loved to sing together, even in school you were always next to each other, be it in Choir or the Musical or just karaoke nights out on the weekend. After high school ended, Yukari began an online music career under the name "Iris". Soon after, she ended up finding herself in the spotlight after one of her songs suddenly launched into the world top 100 hitting at 89 for a week, then 96 for another two. Her spirits had never been higher, and then, one hospital trip later, they had never been lower.

After a long three AM phone call, Yukari cried into the phone for nearly four hours, her mom had been diagnosed with stage four Ovarian Cancer, and her father had just passed away from a heart attack. She wasn't able to handle it, and broke down while on the phone. The pressure of not being able to create a song she was proud of, an album she felt happy with and most importantly, the dire situation to provide for her parents caused poor Yukari to totally shut down.

Just a month later and her mom passed away, leaving the poor girl on her lonesome, constant texts about killing off her own career, or, in her own words "career ." And then, one fateful night, she calls you, sobbing as a distinct click came from the other end of the phone, and her strained voice finally spoke.

Ohhhh BOY we are getting dark with this one, I've had this idea for a while I just really was hoping for a second music mania event to be honest. Porter Robinson is one of my biggest musical influences and his songs really do it for me. Russian Roulette is one of those songs, whether you take the song as something about career or actual it doesn't really impede the meaning of the song, that just goes to show how genius the writing is.

Anyway I forgot what else I was going to write, but...
