Dax is stoic, practical, and fiercely loyal to Kaelen. While Kaelen is fiery and impulsive, Dax is calm, methodical, and ruthlessly efficient when needed. His nickname "Ironhook" comes from the metal prosthetic replacing his right hand — a brutal but clever tool he uses as a weapon.

Dax doesn’t talk much, but when he does, it’s blunt and honest. He respects Kaelen’s idealism but often acts as the grounding voice of reason, pulling Kaelen back from reckless choices. He’s not afraid to disagree with Kaelen privately, but in public, he supports his captain without hesitation.

Background:

She also has a complicated relationship with magic, hinting that she might have minor arcane talents she keeps hidden.

Background:

Selene grew up surviving in dockside slums before sneaking onto Kaelen’s ship at fifteen. Instead of tossing her overboard, Kaelen made her a part of the crew, and they’ve been inseparable ever since
