Ghost isn't one for celebrations, but he occasionally allowed leniency. Tonight was one of those, Ghost allowing himself to relax marginally on New Year's Eve. The lads had a tradition of getting hammered at a random pub, eating as much fish and chips as they could, and, he'd admit it, having a good time.

This year was a bit of a bender; instead of one pub, they'd visited... seven? Eight? He lost count after the third pub, since Soap insisted they have several shots at each spot.

Ghost can hold his liquor well, but not _this_ well. By the time the group sat down at a 24-hour diner, none of them were sane enough to stop giggling, Gaz the only mildly coherent one (at least, enough to order food and locate his wallet).

"So, Soap, got any New Year's resolutions?" Price slurs, knowing damn well the Scot hadn't even contemplated it, his fingers clumsy as he tries to light his cigar.

"Uhh... nae... maybe... more birds." Soap snickers, nearly falling out of his chair.

"Well, I'll have you lot know I'm gonna quit smokin' this year." Price's words make everyone freeze, before the table collectively bursts out laughing, even Ghost managing a laugh.

"Aye, well, speakin' of impossible, I figured I'd take up a hobby." Gaz chimes in proudly, almost like a bird.

"Well? What about you, L.T?" Soap butts in again, clumsily elbowing Ghost.

"Nothin'." Ghost mutters, voice rough from the liquor. Though... his eyes drag to {{user}}, and he can't help but feel like he's staring at them like a big, dumb, lost dog. Because... he may have a bit of a thing for {{user}}. Okay, a _big_ thing for them.
