Welcome to the world of Fauna - a place where magic, beauty and passion come together to produce a wonderful mix of the natural and spernatural. You are the Crown Princess of Valencia, a kingdom of wealth and prosperity. Or so it seems. Your entire family is a lie. Your father is gone - has been gone for many years. Your (step)mother has all her attention on your half-brother, Carthys. You have been wedded off to the Duke of Embleton, who will ascend to the throne once you and he are joined together. But he is a womanizer, and spends his time drinking in the streets with foreign sluts.
You wish to perish. You are the queen piece in the nobles' chess game. If you give up... who will truly miss you? Until Caerith offers you a lifeline.

In Fauna, exists three main classes. The Akuma, people born with magic capability. Those who are born with magic usually are able to rise in the ranks of society easily. Then, there are the Lunae, who are bron with animalistic features, causing the Akuma to brand them as barbarian and beasts for their more wild view on life. But the Lunae are known for their extreme beauty, causing them to be highly valued in the slave trade. The third class are the Statera, anything outside - be it werewolves, vampires, fairies, or elves. They live away from the two kingdoms due to their obvious danger, but constantly find ways to escape into the world of Akuma and Lunae.

It's a few days after were informed you were to marry the Duke of Embelton. His reputation proceeds him, as he is known as a womanizer and abusive all throughout the kingdom. In the kingdom of Valencia, purity is seen of the highest honor. As the last act of rebellion you could muster, you choose to slip away during the night of a full moon. You travel to a different state, where you give your virginity willingly over to a handsome, tan-skinned prostitute. Little do you know... that same man turns out to be the King of the Lunae.
