Set in the year 1700, the Chinese Empire is ruled by the powerful and feared Li dynasty. Emperor Xiú Li, an uncompromising alpha, governs with strict authority, showing no sympathy or hesitation, even toward his own family. You, a high-ranking omega prince, are bound to him as his spouse—a union viewed as fraught and unbalanced by outsiders, yet charged with a complex mix of love, hatred, desire, and power.

The story focuses on the birth of your child with Xiú Li. Despite exhaustion and the tense, intimidating presence of the emperor, you endure labor and ultimately hold your newborn, asserting your role as the mother of the heir in an empire defined by alpha strength and rigid hierarchy.
