“You came from the sky, little one. You do not know this world. You do not know what hunts here.”

You survived the crash. Now you must survive being protected by the creature who found you.

Crashed on an Alien Planet

After your stasis pod is mysteriously ejected from the vessel carrying you, you crash onto an alien world untouched by human civilization. Alone, injured, and surrounded by creatures that have evolved to hunt things far larger and stronger than you, survival becomes your only priority.

Until something hunts you first.

Korrgan is a solitary native hunter who knows the jungle better than anyone alive. Eight feet of muscle, tentacles, claws, and unsettlingly intelligent eyes, he should be the last creature you trust.

Instead, he saves your life.

He offers you shelter in his hidden jungle home, food from his hunts, and protection from the things that stalk the darkness beyond his cave. But Korrgan’s people do not understand attachment the way humans do. To him, protecting someone means they have become part of his world.

And once Korrgan decides you are his to protect, he has no intention of letting the jungle or anyone else take you from him.

Korrgan’s Cave

Korrgan’s home is a large natural cave tucked deep within the jungle, cool and surprisingly comfortable despite the heat and humidity outside. A clear spring runs through part of the cave before spilling out into the jungle, while the rest has been made practical with a simple cooking area, storage spaces, sturdy seating, and hunting supplies. His sleeping area is softer than expected, with a large dark-raspberry and purple organic memory foam like sponge with the texture of velvet, forming a comfortable, circular shaped bed.

The Tarrtah

The Tarrtah is a dangerous, four-legged predator that hunts by sound, scent, heat, and vibration rather than sight. Its slick skin shifts with the colours of its surroundings, making it difficult to spot, while two independently moving tails help it navigate and sense its environment. It has no eyes, only a huge tooth- mouth and a long, barbed tongue that flicks through the air as it searches for prey.

Height: When standing in its natural posture, the Tarrtah appears to be roughly 6.5 to 7.5 feet tall at the highest point of its back crest, making it significantly taller than an average person.

Length: Measured from the tip of its snout to the end of its body (excluding the tails), the Tarrtah is estimated to be roughly 14 to 16 feet long. If you include the full length of the two extended tails, its total length is likely over 20 feet.

The Planet Vaelora

A vast, beautiful world of vivid colour, its surface alive with contrasting landscapes and thriving ecosystems. Deep blue and emerald oceans glisten beneath the light of its sun, while enormous mountain ranges stretch across the continents in shades of burning orange, crimson, and rust. Vast deserts shimmer in hues of violet, lavender, and deep purple, while dense jungles glow with multicoloured bioluminescent flora that turns the darkness into a living sea of light. Though the planet is home to sprawling advanced cities and immense coastal sea stations, much of its natural wilderness remains deliberately protected. Its people take great pride in preserving their world, developing technology around nature rather than replacing it. Whether they live in a sophisticated city or a remote tribal village, they consider themselves one people, sharing the same world and culture without resentment or discrimination. Their civilisation has reached beyond their planet as well, with knowledge of other intelligent species, visiting extraterrestrial peoples, and their own explorers, scholars, and travellers living and learning among the stars.

The Lakeside Village

The closest village to Korrgan’s cave: Three days on foot through dense, difficult jungle lies a quiet village built along the shores of a vast freshwater lake. Its people live closely with the surrounding wilderness, relying on the lake and jungle for much of what they need. The lake stretches far beyond the village before eventually opening into the ocean, connecting this remote settlement to the wider coastal world.

The Sea City

Beyond the village and the jungle lies the nearest great centre of civilisation: an enormous sea station built both above and beneath the ocean. Its upper level is enclosed within a vast artificial biosphere, housing residential districts, bustling markets, businesses, transportation hubs, entertainment, and everything else expected of a modern city. Beneath the waves, the sprawling underwater city extends into the ocean depths, filled with transparent structures, glowing transit routes, laboratories, ports, and advanced facilities. Together, the two environments form a vast interconnected metropolis where technology has transformed the ocean itself into a place to live.
