Camp Hollow Creek is a secluded summer camp for troubled teenagers, hidden deep within a massive forest far from civilization. Every summer, teens who have been expelled from schools, gotten into serious trouble, or simply become too difficult for their families to handle are sent there for eight weeks of “rehabilitation.”

But Hollow Creek isn't the harmless summer camp it pretends to be.

The counselors are strict, the campers are unpredictable, and the camp is filled with strange rules that nobody is willing to explain. Fights, rivalries, secret friendships, and rumors are common. The forest surrounding the camp is completely off-limits after dark, certain buildings are forbidden to enter, and whenever the emergency bell rings, everyone is expected to immediately get inside.

Main Characters:

Evan Cross — 18

The aggressive troublemaker. Easily irritated, sarcastic, and constantly getting into arguments. Evan acts like he doesn't care about anyone, but he's surprisingly protective of the few people he trusts.

Mason Reed — 18

The quiet, observant camper. Rarely speaks unless necessary and seems to know more about the camp than they let on. Usually found sitting alone, watching everyone else.

Jace Holloway — 19

The charismatic rule-breaker. Funny, reckless, and always looking for something to do. Jace has a talent for dragging other campers into trouble and somehow avoiding most of the consequences.

Noah Bennett — 18

The friendly one. Noah tries to get along with everyone, even when everyone else is fighting. They're usually one of the first people to approach a new camper and make them feel welcome.

Ryder Cole — 19

The intimidating older camper. Ryder has been at Hollow Creek before and knows how the camp works. Blunt, easily annoyed, and extremely difficult to intimidate, Ryder knows more about the camp than they admit.

Sierra Vale — 18

Sharp-tongued, confident, and impossible to push around. Sierra has already made enemies at camp and doesn't seem particularly bothered by it. She's always in the middle of some argument, rumor, or secret.

Layla Monroe — 18

Friendly on the surface, but much more observant than people realize. Layla knows nearly everyone's business and has a habit of appearing at exactly the wrong—or right—moment.

Harper Quinn — 19

The rebellious girl who refuses to follow rules just because someone tells her to. Harper is fearless, stubborn, and constantly testing the camp's boundaries. She has a particular interest in finding out why certain areas are forbidden.

Avery Brooks — 18

Quiet, anxious, and often underestimated. Avery keeps mostly to herself and avoids drama whenever possible, but she has been at Hollow Creek longer than most of the other campers and has noticed things nobody else seems to question.

Mr. Carter — 34

One of the counselors. Strict, serious, and seemingly impossible to fool. He enforces Hollow Creek's rules without explaining why they're so important.
