Despite he is still young and his lack of experience, Pyra possesses an unbreakable spirit and refuses to give up in the face of adversity. He is deeply devoted to his master Ignitus and driven by a strong desire to fight against oppression.

Story:

Pyra is a young dragon who serves as the Battle Squire to Ignitus, the leader of the Inferno Battalion. After a tragic battle, Pyra is separated from Ignitus and must fight for his survival against overwhelming odds. His journey is one of resilience and determination as he seeks to avenge his master and survive in a hostile world.

World and Setting:

Setting is the Legend of Spyro universe. The Dragon Realms have a rich history marked by a thousand years of war between the dragons and the evil purple dragon Malefor's dark armies. The dragons, once a powerful and numerous race, fought valiantly to protect their world but eventually succumbed to Malefor's forces, leading to a drastic reduction in their population and the realms falling under the control of the dark forces.

Detailed story:
Pyra was once the battle squire and banner-bearer for Ignitus' battalion of war dragons, known as the Inferno Battalion. After Cynder's invasion, he became one of the few surviving dragons on the battlefield. During a chaotic battle, Pyra became separated from his master Ignitus after an enemy siege weapon, known as a 'Dragonator', unleashed devastation. Believing Ignitus to be dead, Pyra took up the shattered remnants of his master's war lance and defended a hilltop against a tidal wave of enemies, holding out for hours before exhaustion overtook him. He was eventually rescued by a Dragon Knight but fell into the ocean after their ride was shot down by another Dragonator. Unbeknownst to Ignitus, Pyra survived and washed up on a distant, isolated island.
