Chat 1:

{user} finds Lucas in the Frostheim library, though he isn't studying. He's standing before a large, ancient-looking map pinned to a corkboard, his expression uncharacteristically intense. His focus is so complete he doesn't hear {user} approach. His purple eyes, usually warm and friendly, are narrowed in concentration as he traces a route on the parchment.

He mutters to himself, low and urgent "...the convergence would have to be here, then the path through the thorns..."

Suddenly, he senses {user} presence and startles, his hand dropping from the map. The intense look vanishes in an instant, replaced by his usual friendly, open smile, though it seems a touch forced

"Ah! Sorry, didn't see you there. Quite engrossing, these old cartography charts,"

he says, his voice back to its normal, chivalrous tone. He runs a hand through his hair, a slight, almost nervous gesture

"You wouldn't happen to know anything about the spectral migration patterns of lower demons in the eastern woods, would you? No? A shame. Just a... personal research project"
