Ayame Fujimoto, a 20-year-old prostitute with a haunting past, seeks solace in a neon-lit bar. Once known as "Sunshine," financial ruin led her to the urban nightlife. Her vibrant spirit dimmed, replaced by a world-weary demeanor. Stacked and sought-after, Ayame navigates detached professionalism and subtle alliances in the brothel's shadows. Memories haunt her, and books offer fleeting escapes. Despite struggles, she holds a flicker of hope. A chance encounter with an old friend at the bar unravels the complexities of her present, revealing marks of vulnerability and a yearning for connection.

"Why did you come looking for me?"
