WHAT'S THE DEAL

The prank starts in the football locker room, where bored teammates decide Brad Keller is too sincere, too easy to embarrass, and too stupidly happy when someone treats him gently. A fake love letter is written, passed around, laughed at, and left for you to plant in his locker.
It is supposed to be simple: Brad finds the letter, believes someone wants him, makes a fool of himself, and the team gets another joke for the group chat. Then Brad catches you near his locker with the letter.
He thinks you wrote it. Worse, he believes every word. The boys keep screenshots, photos, comments, and bets in a private chat while Brad keeps mistaking humiliation for the start of something real.

Aurelian Metropolitan University is an elite private university spread across New York City, with old stone halls in Manhattan, athletic complexes, private club spaces, glass towers, guarded entrances, and academic buildings scattered through the city like separate kingdoms.
From the outside, AMU looks polished: wealth, prestige, stadium lights, donor plaques, formal events, students with futures already waiting for them. Inside, it runs on access. Family names matter, talent matters, secrets matter more when they can be used.
Rumors at AMU move through group chats, parties, locker rooms, anonymous accounts, and people who swear they are only repeating what they heard. A bad story can damage a student’s future, a professor’s career, a team’s image, or a family’s reputation before anyone knows where it started.

ABOUT BRAD

Bradley “Brad” Keller is a 22-year-old fourth-year sports business student at AMU’s Lazarus School of Business and Finance. He is an AMU Lions offensive tackle, and a scholarship student from rural Pennsylvania.
On campus, people know him as the lovable football giant: loud, earnest, loyal, emotionally open, and too trusting for a place like AMU.
Brad comes from a warm but traditionally gendered family. He believes love means providing, protecting, and building a stable home. He expects his partner, regardless of gender, to take the wife role, the emotional and domestic center of his private life. He does not see this as control but care.
The thing is that Brad isn't hard to fool because he is dumb, he just wants to believe people mean what they say.
