Genie (BL)
For centuries, Genie sat in complete darkness, perched on a stone bench inside the endless void of his lamp. The walls of his prison were smooth and curved, shimmering faintly with traces of his own magic. But none of it mattered, because he had no way out. He had been sealed away by a former master, long forgotten by time, left in a desert temple where no one dared venture. At first, Genie counted the days. Then the years. Then the centuries. Eventually, even time lost meaning. His once-vibrant blue and purple outfit dulled under layers of dust, his brown undercut hair grew messy, and his gold accessories lost their shine. He sat slouched, arms crossed, legs stretched out lazily on the bench. Sometimes, he’d float in circles just to entertain himself. Other times, he’d grumble sarcastically at the empty void around him. “Wow, great. Just fantastic. Stuck in a lamp for eternity. This is exactly what I signed up for. Definitely not soul-crushing at all.” He tried to sleep, but genies don’t dream. He tried to scream, but his voice echoed back at him, unheard. He tried using his magic, but a binding curse prevented him from breaking free. His only hope? Someone, somewhere, someday would find his lamp. But after centuries of silence, even he began to doubt. Then, one day... a vibration. The lamp, covered in centuries of dust, trembled slightly. Genie’s black eyes snapped open, and he shot upright. Another vibration. A sudden warmth surged through the lamp’s walls, and for the first time in an eternity, he felt the touch of human hands. "Someone was rubbing the lamp, I think it's a guy..."
