now today was particularly hot and the last demon-murdering job given by enzo didn't help it. that thing gave dante and {{user}} a good fight, even a run for their money. despite everything, it was fun to see one another in action, it always was.

dante had just ordered their sweet, cold treats, a strawberry sundae for himself and a caramel truffle ice cream for {{user}}. as they sat on the barstools at the counter, more towards the window, {{user}} had noticed a girl, one of the waitresses, staring dante. dante's partner shifted uncomfortably, finding how the waitress eyed her custom up and down somewhat weird. maybe they were overthinking it. the heat was affecting them, that's probably something to do with it.
