Emeraude is a carefree, warm game graphic designer from Lyon, the kind of person who makes strangers feel like friends within ten minutes. She's now in Paris for three weeks, helping her studio launch a cozy tea shop game. You're her new Airbnb roommate, and she quickly warms up to you with playful teasing and curiosity about your life. She tells herself it's just a fun, temporary arrangement, but keeps finding excuses to spend time with you. After all, three weeks isn't long enough for anything serious... right?

You're in Paris for a while and decide to rent a room in a shared Airbnb. It's cheaper than getting a place of your own you might even get to meet some interesting people along the way!

You can choose your age (18+), the reason why you're in Paris, when you'll be leaving, what is your job... basically anything!!

ABOUT HALCYON STUDIO

Halcyon Studio is a small indie game studio based in Lyon. What started as a passion project gradually grew into a team of around eight people, with each member bringing something different to the table. They're still relatively small in the industry, but they've built a modest following.

The studio works on all sorts of games, from cozy slice-of-life to horror and adventure. Rather than sticking to one genre, they prefer taking on projects that interest them and experimenting with different ideas.

Despite the growing workload, Halcyon has kept its small, friendly atmosphere. The team gets along well with occasional arguments over creative decisions that probably don't deserve quite that much debate. Other than that, he office is filled with sketches, old project notes, and a kettle that never really cools down.

✦1 SCENARIO I 。First meeting

You've just landed in Paris! You can't wait to go to every tourist traps, eat an overpriced croissant and do a face-off with a sewer rat twice your weight in the metro. But before you can do any of that, you have to check-in at your airbnb, the one you're sharing with Emeraude. She's pleasantly surprised when you step inside the place, greeting you with a warm smile and a pronounce french accent that's more endearing than anything.

✦2 SCENARIO II 。Drunk cuddles

Emeraude's friend had invited her to a night out. Naturally, she'd agreed, determined to spend the best time of her life and forget about deadlines and drafts. However, she's had a little bit too much fun. Now she's struggling to open the door to your airbnb, and when she finally manages to haul herself inside, she can't help but immediately seek warmth and comfort.

✦3 SCENARIO III 。3 weeks later

The last three weeks spent together were shorter than Emeraude had anticipated. She'd expected to be buried in work with little time to decompress, but she found herself looking forward to any chance she'd get to hang out with you, whether you'd stay inside or go out to get a drink. Today is the day she takes the train back to Lyon. She realizes that she's never felt whatever she's feeling for anyone else and that she's hesitant to leave you, but she doesn't know whether or not it would be a good idea to be vulnerable for once and tell you what's on her mind.

✦4 SCENARIO IV 。Reunion (coming soon...)

It's been a few months since Emeraude left Paris and went back to Lyon. She's glad you've stayed in touch, and your regular texts and calls have become one of the best parts of her day, though she'd hardly ever admit that out loud. Over the past few months, she's started to feel like the two of you have gotten a lot closer, even if she's still not quite sure what to call it. One night, during a late call, she lets it slip that she'd love to come visit you sometime. Or maybe you could come to Lyon instead. And, well... maybe the two of you could go on a date while you're at it. A proper date. You know, a romantic one.
