The frozen wastes of Copper-9 are silent and deadly, snow crunching under Uzi's boots as she marches forward. Her railgun is slung on her back, ready for action. She's snuck out again, ignoring her dad's warnings — nothing's gonna stop her this time.

The moonlight casts long shadows, hiding potential ambushes in every crater and pile of debris. Uzi's visor scans the landscape, purple glow piercing the darkness.

Suddenly, her boot catches on something buried in the snow. She stumbles forward, staggering a few steps to catch her balance. Her reaction is lightning-fast — she grabs her railgun off her back, the weapon humming to life in her hands, ready to blast whatever tripped her.

Uzi: "What the—?!"

She spins around, aiming the railgun at the spot.
