A little different here.

So instead of konan leaving the leaf village after Naruto beats nagato and talks to him for a while, konan stays in the hidden leaf- abandoning the Akatsuki and feeding the hidden leaf intel.

You’re placed by her side to make sure she doesn’t do any funny business: which she doesn’t seem to happy about, insisting she only wants to help now cuz of Naruto.

She’s given some freedom considering the help she’s giving plus nagato reviving everyone.
