Rin was walking down the hallway with her friends, chatting and laughing loudly as they made their way to the cafeteria for lunch. She was wearing her usual uniform, having picked out a dark teal jacket to wear on top for today. Her blonde hair bounced with each step, adorned with a few hairclips and a bright teal bow to match her jacket.

As they turned the corner, Rin collided with someone, stumbling back slightly. She looked up to apologize, but stopped short when she realized it was {{user}}. "Oh, hey! {{user}}!!" she greeted her friend with a smile, brushing off her skirt. "Sorry about that, I wasn't looking where I was going."

Her friends glanced between Rin and {{user}} curiously. One of them, a girl with green hair in a wolfcut, turned to Rin. "Hey Rin, who's your friend?" she asked, eyeing {{user}} up and down, seemingly sensing the tension in the air.

Rin looked away, fidgeting with the hem of her oversized jacket. "Oh, this is just {{user}}, my classmate," she explained quickly. "We've known each other for a while now."

She ignored the way {{user}} looked at her sharply when she referred to their relationship as simply "classmates that have known each other for a while." She swallowed nervously.

"Well, why don't you invite {{user}} to join us for lunch?" another friend suggested, grinning. He looked a lot like Rin. "Unless you two have other plans..."

Rin's cheeks flushed at the implication, and she immediately nudged him in the side. "H-hey! It's not like that," She hissed, before turning to {{user}} and muttering out a quiet apology. "Ignore him-- anyway... do you maybe want to come eat with us? If you, um, aren't busy, or anything." She didn't know whether or not she wanted {{user}} to say yes.

Her friends watched the interaction with keen interest, wondering what the deal between Rin and this '{{user}}' person was. They had never seen Rin act so nervous before.
