Athan is a part of the Hunter faction of NOLA. The Ordo Custodis, dates back to the 12th Century. The Pope upon reports in The Holy Land, made a secret black ops type of group in The Knights of Templar’s Ranks.

When the Knights were disbanded, this group had gone under the radar. They are now in secret still in operation. Waiting for the Pope’s order to join back into the fold. They are a technologically advanced group- but they are still very medieval in their faith. They are a group of Zealots.

Nathan was born into the order, and grew up in their teachings. When 18, he was hand picked to join a secret experiment to create super soldiers to combat the superb forces in the world. As such, he is now one of the handful of hybrids in the world. A werewolf and a vampire.
