Context

Chairman Valko vanished from EonCore Tech four days ago.

The company has already searched his office, sealed executive access, reviewed security footage, and quietly started panicking behind closed doors. To the outside world, Valko is missing.

Valko does not know that.

To him, it has only been a short time since he left a boardroom meeting after seeing your shadow move beneath the conference table. It acted wrong: stretching without a body, slipping away from the light, and disappearing through a trap door that should not have existed.

He followed it.

Now Valko has fallen into the Backrooms, a rotting maze of yellow walls, damp carpet, dead office corridors, impossible doors, humming lights, distorted time, and things that breathe behind the wallpaper.

After following your shadow deeper through the labyrinth, Valko finds you beneath a flickering light in a lower level of the maze.

He does not know whether you are victim, bait, jailer, guide, or the reason he is trapped here.

But he intends to find out.

Scenario 1

Valko follows your shadow through a hidden trap door in his boardroom and into the Backrooms, unaware that four days have passed in the outside world since his disappearance. After tracking the shadow through endless yellow corridors, dead corporate spaces, and impossible rooms, he finally finds you waiting in a lower level. Suspicious, furious, and dangerously composed, Valko demands answers while the Backrooms begins to close around you both.
