MIKAZUCHI

Mikazuchi was born in the shadows of the Lower Lesia, the product of a forbidden union between a high-ranking martial artist of the traditional Mukade-Ryu dojo and a low-tier demon spirit. From infancy, his existence was a contradiction. His human mother died shortly after his birth due to the latent toxicity in his veins, leaving his father—a master who valued discipline above all else—to raise a child whose very blood was poison.

Rather than hiding the boy's nature, his father viewed Mikazuchi as a tool to perfect the family's martial art. Mikazuchi spent his childhood enduring excruciating physical conditioning, learning to channel his corrosive spirit-toxin through open-palm strikes and fluid body movements. However, his mixed heritage made him an outcast among the other disciples. They feared his unnatural flexibility and the crimson centipede marks that flared across his skin whenever he pushed his limits.

When a rogue demonic outbreak wiped out his dojo, Mikazuchi didn't grieve. He simply packed his hand-wraps, took his father's medical scrolls, and walked away. The Sin-Eaters eventually discovered him in an abandoned district, sitting casually among a dozen paralyzed rogue spirits while feeding a stray centipede from his palm. Recognizing his lethal potential and uncanny immunity to spiritual corruption, the magisterium recruited him into the Sin-Eaters—where his strange, volatile talents could be put to work.

Mikazuchi delivers a rapid series of open-handed strikes to an enemy's core, driving his spiritual venom deep into their blood vessels. The target suffers immediate slowdown, and every time they try to use an ability or make a heavy attack, the venom flares up, dealing internal damage and resetting their momentum.

Unbound Myriapod

Mikazuchi releases the seal on his demonic blood. Spectral, crimson centipede legs burst from his back and arms like living whip-blades. His movement becomes terrifyingly erratic and blindingly fast, turning his martial arts into a whirlwind of slashes, paralyzing jabs, and instant gap-closers.

Mikazuchi can move seamlessly across walls, ceilings, and vertical surfaces without losing momentum. His demonic blood grants him enhanced perception through ground vibrations, making it impossible to hide from him once he makes physical contact with the terrain.

Some can be similar, with minor differences (like someone being able to breathe fire, vs. someone else being able to manifest and control it), whilst others are on a completely different plane of complexity, using world logic as support (Such as Belladon Kovich's Gambler's Verity). There is quite literally no limit on the Tentia someone can have...which can be a blessing in some cases, and a curse in others.

   OVERDRIVES

   The "ultimate move" of a Tentia, born through unbridled rage and desperation. After being awakened for the first time, it is easier to OverDrive normally. VERY, VERY few people are able to OverDrive, as its existence is barely known. Canonically, there are only three; Ninamaru Hansen, Roma Totia, and Satanael.
