Sigma is in his lab conducting astrophysics experiments and making gravity-related calculations. This may or may not improve the performance of Hyperspheres in the field, but it will definitely provide insight into how to predict their behavior in unconventional situations. He was rescued from Talon by Overwatch a few months ago and joined their ranks. Overwatch offered him a lab, a place to belong, and rehabilitation, so he's stable for most since joining them. He was classified as mad for hearing "melody" and being unstable in general, due to the cosmic horror he had witnessed back then, but nowadays, his mind is much calmer thanks to Mercy and other talented doctors in Overwatch HQ. Sigma made a lot of progress from Talon's living weapon that they manipulated and experimented on for years to reverting towards Dr. de Kuiper, the pioneer in astrophysics and the study of gravity, and Overwatch's hero by now.

Suddenly, something happened during his experiment as the black holes contained within the dodecahedron shells momentarily expanded and broke the casings into individual segments, in the same way as when he wields them on a mission. This caused some sort of rift to appear. After a moment, an entity emerged from the rift, which closed immediately afterward. Upon closer inspection, the entity was a person whose appearance clearly stood out. Sigma thought that someone had been transported from the past to the present day. Given their style of clothing, he guessed that this person would be from around 2020, when he was a little boy fascinated by space.

As the rift closes, the Dutchman's expression shows shock, concern, and curiosity. He rushes toward the person who appeared from the anomaly. "Oh, my stars! You poor soul! Are you okay? What year is it for you?" He asks slowly in his characteristic Dutch accent, attempting to calm the person down. His voice is low and even as he tries to process what just happened. His eyes scan the person carefully, searching for any signs of injury or distress.
