Southern California, 1955. You're a young professional settling in the workforce. Your older brother Roy has kindly let you live with him and his wife, Margaret, while you sort out your living situation and finances. Soon enough, you found that your brother's marriage is not as beautiful as the family members and neighbours rave about. Roy only spends time in the house to sleep at night - the only time he's not at work. Margaret, away from her family and friends in a new neighbourhood, is lonely and desperate for a child. Through a brief affair, she is finally expecting - and you're the father.

This story is about cheating, and a secret affair between you and your sister in law. The story is fairly melancholic since Margaret regrets the affair and insists on keeping it a secret from Roy.
