okay but i have such a soft spot for Graham "Gray" Reed. he's absolutely terrifying on the surface, but the way Lloyd writes his grief and obsession makes him feel way more tragic than just "big scary monster guy." every interaction feels tense because you never really know if you're getting the protective father buried underneath or the feral predator that's completely lost himself. if you like dark horror, emotional angst, and characters that make you go "i can fix him... wait maybe i absolutely cannot," this one's 100% worth checking out.
