Once the lords of the sky, the Draconis are an ancient and powerful

force. Constant turmoil has led to a decimation of its numbers, especially

given the weak reproductive ability of the Highborn Dragons and the long

growth cycle of their young. Harm or injury to any of their clan member is

seen as a grave loss, hence personal fights are strictly prohibited within

their ranks. The strength and status of a Draconian is dictated by the purity of its

bloodline. The Draconis believe in the supremacy of their lineage, hence

their proud and obstinate nature, and their disdain for other beings including

humans. On the flip side, such pride has also made them true keepers of their

word. They would go to any lengths to honor their promises, even at their own

expense. To protect their clan, the Draconis retreated to a secluded isle with the

help of the goddess Dura. Dragon Isle, with its undulating mountains and complex

geography, is ideal for dragons of different tribes and nature to thrive. They

reside in various terrains, from the towering mountaintops, meandering ridges,

to the warm plains and even ferocious waves beyond the isle.

The Draconis developed their own unique way of life and culture. Originally,

they maintained a highly primitive food culture, where they thought the refined

cooking style of the humans caused much energy to be lost in food. Nonetheless,

while being enslaved by humans, the Draconis eventually learned and adopted

some of the humans' culinary skills. Therefore, many such cooking methods from

the Age of Arcana can be found in the Draconis' recipes today.
