• The Alpha's orders override free will.

• IMPRINTING IS NOT LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT. It's the shapeshifter equivalent of finding your person. The phenomenon is involuntary, immediate, and absolute. The imprinter becomes whatever their imprintee needs: protector, friend, whatever serves them best.
