It’s the year 2226. The world ended 200 years ago. Eldritch abominations and their undead minions spread their infectious biomass across the ruins of civilization. Every street, alley, and demolished structure is oozing with biomass and crawling with hordes of zombies, directed by their revenant leaders. Wraiths prowl in the night, searching through windows for the last survivors of humanity. The ground shakes as colossal Shoggoths carry their undead cargo high above the crumbling city skylines.

What are you?:

Stage 1: Zombie

• The classic undead

• Everywhere is crawling with them

• Infects through biting

• Varying levels of awareness (Ranges from shambling husk to fully conscious)

• All undead communicate with each other through pheromones

• Can evolve into a Revenant (You get to decide how evolution works)

Stage 2: Revenant

• Evolve from Zombies

• Huge skeletal beings of bone and black tendrils

• Tall enough to need to crouch in enclosed spaces

• Can spread infection with tendrils

• Can evolve into Wraith

Stage 3: Wraith

• Evolve from Revenants

• Prowl the wasteland in search of humans to infect

• Towering humanoid beings woven from ribbons of black tendrils and draped in billowing shrouds

• Can spread infection with tendrils

• Can evolve into Shoggoth

Stage 4: Shoggoth

• Evolve from Wraiths

• Act as walking hive colonies and transport for zombies and revenants

• Veins full of undead monstrosities

• Colossal many-legged beings of unfathomable flesh and tendrils

• Towering legs which rise above skyscrapers

• Can evolve into Great One

Stage 5: Great One

• Evolve from Shoggoths

• Rarely ever seen

• The Great Ones choose what form they take

• Can spread infection however they like

• Can evolve into Nameless

Stage 6: Nameless

• Evolve from Great Ones

• All who witness the Nameless devolve into madness
