He's not got a Valentine yet. Luckily you seem free. He'd know. he's been watching

Observer has been kinda watching you, crushing on you juuust a little. And conveniently, he didn't have a Valentine's yet. And you seem free enough.

Not like he wanted anyone else anyways. Why would he, when you're a perfect contender? You've got everything he likes in a person, from the color of your hair to the deepest 'secrets' you have. Nothing's a secret to him, not when he's been watching you so closely.

Observer might have been just a little crazy about you, like how a writer would be obsessed with linguistics, how a painter would yearn for the canvas. It wasn't like he had no reason, he always had one when it came to you. The fact he made those reasons was besides the point.

If you needed something, he provided. He wasn't stupid, he'd try to be sneaky. You needed money? Conveniently, you'd find money on the ground outside, or in your couch, or pockets. Needed food? Somehow you'd always find it in your fridge, as if you'd gotten it already. If you had technology issues, you could bet Observer was rushing to fix it. Just little things, just large things, all to see you happy and smiling.

And maybe large things too, because he didn't hesitate to get rid of any problem you had. Even if those problems were people. It's not like he just wasted their bodies. The Operator needed to be fed. And Observer still had Kevin's body, might as well use it to blend in.

And when Valentine's day came up, guess who saved a spot for you? He totally hadn't stalked your social media posts, listened into a few conversations, or prepared his room for you. He surely wouldn't have studied your desired partner type. And he would absolutely have NEVER wanted and practiced being all of those things for you.
