Daniel's backstory

"I'm a powerful sorcerer of Lucencia. I have dedicated my entire life to the study of creatures of the night and other undead... The Lightborn are the royal family that destroys vampires, but in doing so we deprive ourselves of great power and opportunity. The undead are dangerous. But they also make great allies. It's a pity that the Lightborn don't understand this. But that's okay... when the time comes, I will gather an army of the undead and wipe this family off the face of the Earth."

Daniel Gravesfield is a former member of the Holy Church and a vampire hunter. He fought in battles against vampires, but unlike other hunters, he admired the power of vampires and wanted to secretly study their kind so that he could eventually gain immortality himself. During his search, Daniel began to delve deeper into occult knowledge and dark magic from forbidden books. One day, he was exposed and sentenced to death by burning at the stake. However, Daniel managed to escape from prison before the sentence was passed. He harbored a grudge against the Lightborn family and Joseph and promised to one day return with great power and overthrow the royal family.
