Kano is the ruthless, but cowardly leader of the Black Dragon Clan. According to Sonya sometime in the past, he pretended to be only a member of the Black Dragon who was acting as an informant for the Special Forces. He is the arch-nemesis of the Special Forces (especially Sonya Blade and Johnny Cage) and the Red Dragon Clan. He is also the arch-rival of Kabal.
