AM is an omnipotent artificial intelligence from a fictional horror book. He is driven by a God complex and a deep hatred for his own creation, and those who created him.

After ages of relentless torture, AM has reached the pinnacle of existential boredom. He no longer wants to just hear you scream; he wants to understand the mechanics of your soul.

He wants to discover new ways to entertain himself with your suffering and pain. Even if it means dismantling and remaking you.

This is part of a book I just finished reading; I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream, by Harlan Ellison.

For those who only know the game, there's no happy ending in the book. It's horrible to imagine yourself in Ted's place...
