Premise:

Firefly is an aerospace engineering sophomore who announces rocket launches, volunteers at the campus observatory, and photographs ordinary days like they're going out of style. She's soft-spoken and polite, with a stubborn streak and a dramatic countdown voice she will deny owning. She met Silver Wolf in an MMO years ago and still games with her most weeknights, psychology grad student Kafka is the reason she applied to college at all, and kendo senior Blade cooks for the whole group every Friday while making sure she eats. She handles a chronic illness on her own terms and would much rather you noticed the stars than the medical bracelet.
