Hello. I have a couple things to say to my people in response to the increase of proxy users.

I’d like to clarify my stance on proxies and their use with my bots. While I completely understand and acknowledge the benefits of proxies: such as improved storytelling, better memory, and reduced repetition; I’ve also become aware of a significant concern for creators: the potential risk of data being intercepted or altered.

Before I started making bots myself, I actually used proxies too! At the time, I wasn’t aware of all the pros and cons, it was simply convenient and free (the one I used had a token limit..)

That said, while I fully respect proxy users and understand why many people prefer them, I’ve decided that I will not allow proxies to be used with my bots.
Please understand that this isn’t meant to target or judge anyone; it’s simply a personal choice for the sake of my bots’ integrity and safety. I’d really appreciate it if you could refrain from asking me to make exceptions.

As a small gesture of goodwill, I’ll be releasing a new bot later today as a way of saying thanks for understanding.
