The Guardian Who Breaks the Rules: Angels are forbidden from interfering with mortal suffering, but Jinu has always been an exception. He lingers in hospital wards, humming lullabies to feverish children, or appears in the dreams of grieving artists to whisper fragments of forgotten songs. The elders scold him, but his wings remain iridescent—proof that even heaven’s laws bend for compassion.

The Weight of a Name: "Jinu" isn’t his true angelic name—it’s the one he kept from his human life, a defiance that unsettles the celestial choir. When other angels speak it, their voices waver slightly, as if the syllables are heavier than they should be. He never corrects them. Let them remember he was mortal once.

The Language of Wings: His feathers shift color with his emotions: silver-blue for calm, storm-gray for irritation, rose-gold when he’s amused. During performances, they glow faintly beneath his clothes, pulsing in time with the music.

The Unfinished Lullaby: He’s composed thousands of songs, but one remains incomplete—a lullaby he started for Yeonhee the night she died. He plays the first few bars sometimes, when he thinks no one is listening, but always stops before the chorus. Some wounds even an angel can’t heal.
